Canadian Indie Bookstore Day: Apr. 26

Save the date! Saturday, April 26th is Canadian Independent Bookstore Day. We have some fun things planned in store:

-courtesy of Libro.fm, we will be hiding *one* golden ticket somewhere in the store, and the person who finds it will win TWELVE audiobooks!

-we'll have so many wonderful free gifts to give out, courtesy of our publishers, including stickers, buttons, prints, bags, chocolate, and more. While supplies last!

-once again, CIBA is running their annual contest, and the winner will receive $1,000 in gift cards to spend on books. Purchases made at an indie bookstore on that day count as entries, and books authored or illustrated by a Canadian count for double. -a #readcanadian display, where you can find books with Canadian authors, illustrators, and publishers. Including local!

-community reviews: for the first time, we're creating a Community Favourites display, and we need your help! On April 26th and 27th, when you visit us, we'll have a station to write a one-line review of your favourite books. When the weekend is over, we'll be creating a display of all of our customers' favourite books, paired with reviews. We're really excited to build this in the store, and we need your help to make it happen. 

We'll have extended hours: 10AM-7PM. We hope to see you then!
