Black History, Black Voices
Just because February is over doesn't mean we stop talking about these important books, and Amherstburg has a rich history of supporting the Black community. It played an important role in welcoming Black people resisting enslavement through the “Underground Railroad.” While progress as been made over the years, many in the Black community are still facing discrimination. We have curated a collection of books on the issues and the possible solutions, as well as books that amplify Black voices.
