The River Bookshop team wishes you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season. We have had fun meeting you all this last year, talking books, making suggestions and enjoying with you the many speakers and events we’ve brought to our Hole in the Wall and our street front space. While 2021 was a challenging year it was also a rewarding one, here’s to an even better 2022!
Boxing Week
Now that the hustle and bustle of Christmas is winding down we’d like to give all of our readers a gift. We are closed today, Boxing Day, but tomorrow will start our Boxing Week sale - 15% off all books in-store or in stock online from December 27 to the 31st!!
What a great chance to use those gift cards, to get yourself a gift for making it through the year, to stock up on those must-reads for 2022. Books to entertain, engage, inspire and educate.
Come in and see us this week, sit by the fire and chat, browse all of our titles and make the trip up the stairs to visit the White Woods Pop-Up shop. Make sure to note our new winter hours below!
January Events
With the developments of the Omicron variant and the new guidelines from the Windsor Essex Health Unit and the provincial government we at River Bookshop feel it is prudent to cancel our January events. Because our events are sure to be interesting, informative and entertaining we want to do them justice with a full house of attendees. Anyone who has already registered will remain on the list for the rescheduled dates. Watch this space and our social media for news regarding rescheduling.
January Book Club
Our January Book Club will take place as scheduled on January 25th at 7pm but will be entirely virtual. Our book choice this month is The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. Email info@riverbookshop.com if you would like to register to join our Zoom meeting.
