Our 9th annual WSO Brass Quintet in the Park 🎵

Nine years ago, Colleen and I heard the Windsor Symphony Orchestra play in the Navy Yard Park.

We enjoyed it so much that we reached out to their Executive Director Sheila Wisdom and said we wanted their performance to become an annual tradition. After enduring rain-outs and a pandemic, last year the Quintet saw its largest audience ever. People are really catching on to what a special event it is. 

Colleen and I really believe that the Arts — including music, literature, and visual art — are key to a healthy community. Since our first WSO event, we have hosted a ‘flash mob,’ a pop-up at the book shop, and more—most recently, the Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra. And even though our longtime WSO partner Sheila is retiring, the partnership will continue.

This Sunday, the WSO Brass Quintet will perform a free summer concert in the King’s Navy Yard Park. Bring your blankets or chairs, and we will see you on Sunday, August 27, at 3pm.
