You've probably heard us say we value art of ALL kinds—whether literary, visual, musical, or otherwise—because it's one of our core values as a bookshop. That's why we're SO excited to announce this event. In just two weeks, join us for Poems, Paintings, & Performance on Saturday, August 19, at 2pm.
14 pairs of poets and painters have taken inspiration from each other's work, and they'll be performing that here for us, turning our upstairs Hole in the Wall into a gallery by the end of the afternoon. I personally love the interplay of different art forms, and I can't wait to see what new connections are made from this unique process.
