Summer 2022 has definitely been a spectacular storytime summer. But don’t you worry, we have no plans of slowing down our stellar schedule any time soon! Last Sunday, August 27th, our little listeners got two readers for the price of one. Ms. Lauren shared some of her favourite Back-to-School titles, and local author Mark Leonard Robinson gave a spirited reading of his book, “Classroom Bullies.” The kids had a great time learning how to tell their own original stories with coaching from Mark.
Coming up this Sunday, September 4th, is a storytime by our neighbour Anna Marano from The Panetteria. Anna is ready to read some baking-themed books with the kiddos and share some of her chocolate chip cookies with the crowd. This storytime is sure to trigger your sweet tooth!
Finally, mark your calendars for Sunday, September 11th because Beth England from Evelyn’s Candy House will be our celebrity reader! Beth is excited to talk about her candy store and share her knowledge about Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope. This reading is sure to be both sweet and educational! Hope to see you there!
