Story Time Newsletter: Canadian History, Lavender Librarian, & Easter

Mar 25, 2023

Quote: “We are not makers of history. We are made by history.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr.

Coming Soon (This Weekend):

Meg Reiner from the Marsh Historical Collection will be impressing our audience with her vast knowledge of Canadian and local history on Sunday, March 26th, at 1pm. If your child LOVES learning about our country’s vast history, they’ll definitely enjoy this story time.

On the Horizon:

Next week, on April 2nd, The Lavender Librarian will be joining us for story time! Kate Reynolds is a librarian at the Windsor Public Library and the creator/executive director of Storytime Solidarity, a blog about reading diverse books to children. We can’t wait for Kate to share that extensive reading experience with our audience!

The Easter Bunny is coming to town, and bookshop owners Richard and Colleen Peddie are doing something special for story time! Stay tuned for more news in your inbox about our eggscelent schedule of Easter festivities.

Reading brings us together,
