Story Time Roundup - Remembrance Day, Raquel Sa, seasonal books, and Maestro Robert Franz

Nov 19, 2022

“Sometimes you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” —Dr. Seuss

We were so lucky to have Stephanie Pouget this past Sunday share her extensive knowledge of military history and Remembrance Day traditions with our audience. The kids loved her WWI-era gas mask and helmet. We hope to have her back for Remembrance Day next year.

Author Reading Alert! 🚨 This Sunday, November 20th, we are pleased to have Raquel Sa, children’s author from Chatham, with us for a reading of her original picture books, Marvin the Marvellous Moustache and Spaghetti Gazelle Goes To Space. We are so happy to support such a rising star!

The delightful Ms. Darrie-Ann is back again on November 27th to dazzle us! With the recent snow in the weather forecast, she thought it appropriate to read books all about preparations for winter and the changing seasons. Your little one is sure to love this awesome pre-holiday story time.

We are closing out story time season this year with a very special reader… Maestro Robert Franz! 🎶 Maestro Franz of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra was our VERY FIRST story time reader back in May 2022. His reading set us up for 7 incredible months of story time readers from across our community. Maestro Franz will be joining us on December 4th for a spirited reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. You don’t want to miss this memorable holiday event.

That’s all folks! Read more books,
