Thank you to everyone who attended our past few story times. We have seen an excellent turn out for both our story times with Ms. Lauren and our celebrity story times. Staff Sergeant Lisa Cheney’s reading on June 12th was a blast! Thankfully, the forecasted rain never came and a great group of kids and adults had the chance to enjoy Staff Sergeant Cheney’s stellar reading skills and super cool police car.
The fun continues! Ms. Lauren has a great lineup of books selected for the upcoming weeks.
The Very Cranky Bear by Nick Bland, Chez Bob by Bob Shea, Llama Llama Loose Tooth Drama by Anna Dewdney and Clementine and the Lion by Zoey Abbott for the June 19 session.
And for the following week, Sunday June 26 - Princesses versus Dinosaurs by Linda Bailey, We Don't Eat Our Classmates by Ryan T. Higgins, Hello Dinosaurs by Sam Boughton and How Do Dinosaurs Go To School by Jane Yolen & Mark Teague.
Mark your calendars! The esteemed Mayor Aldo DiCarlo will be joining us on July 3rd as our next celebrity reader. What’s more, we will be joined by a community member with a big red truck at our July 10th reading. See if you can guess who it will be…!
