Are you are looking for something to do EVERY weekend this summer? Amherstburg has you covered! The streets are closed every weekend until Labour Day, and we will be dancing in the streets!

Open Air was recently awarded “Best Street Festival“ at the Best of Windsor Essex Awards, and “The Most Wonderful Event of the Year” at the Biz X Awards, so you do not want to miss out!

Night Markets on Fridays, musical guests Saturdays, free yoga in the park on Sundays, and much more.

Looking for a book about Amherstburg? River Bookshop has three amazing selections, and each one is on sale this weekend. Pick up a copy of Heritage Buildings of Amherstburg for $24.95, Great Small Towns of Ontario for only $25, and What Time Can't Touch now available for $19. Stop into the bookshop on your next trip down the strip and add all three to your collection.

It's Heritage week and Kara Folkeringa from the MARSH HISTORICAL COLLECTION will be joining us at River Bookshop for Story Time on Sunday at 11AM.

Stop into our Story Time tent in the streets out front of the bookshop, and get cozy on our colourful pillow-mats. We are taking you on a summer adventure back in time! See you Sunday!

Fort Malden Living History Festival returns this weekend. Watch as the past comes alive with the sights, smells, and sounds of history. Visit period encampments as re-enactors and volunteers recreate the lifestyles of several different time periods. Experience live cooking demonstrations, musical performances, featured talks, and historic weapon demonstrations that will blow you away!

Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10 AM to 5PM, located at Fort Malden National Historic Site. Cost: Adults $10.75, Seniors $9.75, Youth 17 and under $5.75.

The market of this week runs from 5PM to 9PM on Friday, August 2 in the downtown along Richmond St., Dalhousie St., and Murray St.

SUNDAY - Back 2 Back at 3PM at the King’s Navy Yard Park Gazebo, followed by Jackson Crawley at 4PM on the downtown streets.

Yoga in the Park

Unwind and rejuvenate with Yoga in the Park, returning this year for Open Air!

Join us on Sundays at 10AM in King’s Navy Yard Park next to the gazebo for FREE one-hour yoga classes led by experienced instructors including some from Balance Yoga.

No registration is required. Weather permitting.

Musicland is the place to be Fridays at 5:30PM. Bring your lawn chair and head downtown to the strip on Fridays to see what's rocking. Plus, take a walk around the block and check out the Night Market too.
