ART THAT INSPIRES
The art above our fireplace during the Art Crawl weekend is by local artist Dennis K Smith, entitled “Zoot Suit Clarinet Player.” It’s a painting of a photo of his dad, posing stylishly in his zoot suit and tilted hat. He was trying to impress Dennis‘s mother. The irony is that he never learned to play the clarinet, but he did win his sweetheart over.

On Sunday, July 20th, Story Time is partnering with the Junior Art Crawl. Join us at 11AM and at 1:15PM, when River Bookshop's Darrie-Ann Richard and local musician Kara Kaufmann will share Art, Music, and Dance–themed story books.
Between these readings we welcome you to the many Junior Art Crawl activities taking place in Art Alley. These activities include Art Mural participation, Face Painting, Dance Demonstrations, Music Performances, Art Bingo, and more. Junior Art Crawl is sponsored by Amherstburg GM and takes place in the Art Alley behind River Bookshop. Come join us starting at 11AM at River Bookshop!

LIVE MUSIC SATURDAY NIGHT
On Saturday, Art Crawl will come to a musical close. Head downtown with a friend and bring a chair, and meet at the clock—Richmond and Dalhousie.
Kicking things off at 5:30PM, Bethany D’Alimonte (of Musicland) and her father John team up to get the party started, followed by the well known big band the Bishop Boys at 7PM.
We're so excited for the Amherstburg ART CRAWL this weekend—and Evelyn’s is joining in the fun with our annual Cookie Colouring Contest!
Stop by Evelyn’s to pick up your flower outline or download and print it at home. Once your masterpiece is complete, bring it to Evelyn’s or email us your design for a chance to have your artwork printed on a delicious, flower-shaped sugar cookie!
