"MUSIC CAN CHANGE THE WORLD"
—Ludwig van Beethoven
Located at 59 Richmond, Musicland has served Amherstburg and Windsor Essex for over 35 years. More recently it has been led by the talented Bethany D’Alimonte. She has eight years of teaching experience and is trained in classical, jazz, pop, and rock. Bethany and her team of expert instructors offer private lessons in drums, voice, ukulele, guitar, piano, and violin. Her shop is also a good place to purchase new and used musical gear.

In addition to training young and old musicians, the shop hosts “Open Stage” for young musicians the last Saturday of every month. Bethany also created a new “best practice”: its front window is actually a garage door that opens to Richmond Street, which turns it into a music stage for free concerts during Open Air and Open Stage.
Now we all have our favourite music to listen to and enjoy, but did you know the other benefits that come from listening to music? How about this: music offers significant physical, mental, and emotional benefits by stimulating brain activity, reducing stress, and enhancing cognitive function. It also improves mood, enhances memory, and increases focus. WOW—who knew? So if you have a child you want to learn an instrument, or you have always wanted to play yourself, drop by Musicland—and rock on with another great Amherstburg amenity.
Listen to the interview on CKBG 107.9 FM this Saturday and Sunday at 8AM.

WHAT MAKES AMHERSTBURG GREAT
