Saturday, April 26th is Canadian Independent Bookstore Day, and River Bookshop is celebrating. Join us all day long for some amazing contests and games (more details below).
Saturday, April 26th is Canadian Independent Bookstore Day. We have some fun things planned in store:
- GOLDEN TICKET somewhere in the store! Whoever finds it will receive 12 free audiobooks from Libro.fm.

- CIBA annual contest, where the winner will receive $1,000 in gift cards to spend on books.

- Community reviews: for the first time, we're creating a Community Favourites display and we need your help!

BIRD THEMED STORY TIME
On Sunday, April 27 at 11AM, we are very excited to welcome DR. DAN MENNILL to Story Time.
Dr. Mennill is a Professor of Ornithology at the University of Windsor, and we are excited to have him share his expertise and some story books about BIRDS at this week's story time. You won't want to miss this one!

The River Bookshop team is excited to invite Kalie Chapman and her team of artists to perform a selection of Kalie's latest poetry collection, Stem.
“Stem” is a collection of poetry that explores the visual structures of the four fields of science (STEM) to communicate the experience of living with mental illness. This presentation will stitch together the arts and the sciences to tell a story of survival.
Event will take place in the bookshop. All are welcome to attend!
