Hotel STRY is now open!

Turn downtown Amherstburg into your weekend spa destination. Plan your trip and invite friends and family to stay for the night. Walk the streets, stop for coffee, browse our many local shops, sip wine and take in a poetry reading at the Hole in the Wall, then end the night at Hotel STRY, the new boutique hotel.

Constructed in 1875, the building at 70 Murray Street previously served Amherstburg as a grocery store, a furniture store, a bank, and an auto parts store. Hotel STRY has undergone extensive renovations and is now ready for its next chapter.

ARTS ARE MAKING AMHERSTBURG EVEN BETTER

The Art Amherstburg Society that hosts the annual July Art Crawl has launched a self directed art crawl app on its website www.artamherstburg.ca. Research proves that the Arts can contribute to a strong local economy, improve quality of life, foster creativity, and help drive tourism. Amherstburg is on a roll, and the arts are helping. Check out the new app to view the over 50 murals and art installations that make Amherstburg even more beautiful.

Click on the four sections to take your own virtual tour, or even better, use the app on your smartphone to view the art installations while you tour the downtown core.
