FIRST EVER READ-A-THON SUNDAY FROM 10AM-2PM
Sunday, July 13th, River Bookshop is hosting our FIRST EVER Read-a-thon & Stuffie Social to promote reading and the arts in our community.
Mark your calendar, pick out the perfect book, and bring your favourite stuffie to read with! This is an ALL AGES EVENT. Join us any time between 10AM and 2PM at River Bookshop. Choose a spot—our reading nook, outside in our Art Alley, outside on the Hole in the Wall patio, or upstairs in the Hole in the Wall—for some quiet reading time. And remember your sunscreen and water bottles! PLUS, we are expecting some special guests. Read more below!
SPECIAL GUESTS: LOCAL AUTHOR APPEARANCES
This Sunday, expect to meet some local talent at the Read-a-thon, because we've invited four Local Authors! Author appearances will begin at 10AM, and author readings will be scattered throughout the day. Meet John Costa, Joel Emery, Stephen Kristof, and Marena Woodsit, purchase a new book and have it signed by the author.
RIVER THEME STORY TIME SUNDAY AT 11AM
Summer is definitely in full swing in our River Town, and we absolutely love it when we get to share seasonally themed stories with our young Story Time friends.
Our friend Rev. Lisa Poultney is joining us as our special guest reader this week to share stories about Rivers and Boats. Come join us Sundays at 11AM for Story Time.
