Emotions

This engaging, interactive book introduces toddlers to common emotions, such as happy, sad, angry, and scared. Adorable animals, such as a hedgehog, tiger cub, zebra, and more, are featured in a variety of situations to show young readers how to handle strong emotions. Prompts invite readers to become part of the story; for example, when Hedgehog is sad because he doesn’t have any friends, young readers are invited to tell Hedgehog, “Don’t be sad, Hedgehog! I’ll be your friend!” As an extension activity, children are invited to show what their own happy, sad, angry, and scared faces look like.
