While investigating a jewelry heist, Detective Ryan Boone discovers that what looks to be a simple crime is tied to a terrible secret.

As he struggles to make a connection between the heist and four, seemingly unconnected, murders, Mel Parker, who runs an illegal escort service, refuses to come forward with what she knows. To complicate things further, somehow five other women are implicated in the murders despite most having never met.

The trail turns up as many dead-ends as resolutions. Ryan and Mel have to discover the connection before someone else ends up murdered.
